A full or complete denture is a removable appliance replacing all of the natural teeth and the associated tissues and is supported by the gums. A full denture can replace either an upper or lower arch or both arches.

 

The base of the denture is made of gum-coloured acrylic, which maybe reinforced with metal or Fibre Force for extra strength. The teeth are made of acrylic or porcelain.
